I ran into the streets, and noticed something strange. The people were not acting like themselves. It looked like they were under some sort of trance. I heard the clash of metal on metal coming from the fortress and I ran in that direction.
I ran past the guards and into the courtyard, where I saw Altair fight other assassins. I pulled out my blade and joined the fight, stabbing one in the back. I looked down sadly at the novice. "Rest in peace." I whispered. I pulled the wax from my ears and went to hug Altair, when my movements stopped. I groaned, struggling against the invisible force holding me in place.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in!" The Masters sneering voice said, and I realized how much I had hated that voice. "Altair's little pet come to save him!"
"Let us go and fight like a man!" I challenged. "Or are you scared, Master? Or should I even call you that?" He walked towards me and cupped my chin in his hand, before slapping me.
"Don't speak to me that way, girl!" He spat and I glared at him even more. "You will call me that-"
"Or what? You'll kill me like you killed my mother?" I asked, sneering. "I know about what you did. Why did you raise me if I was your target? Was I just another spoil of war?!" He slapped me again, but I didn't let any of the pain I felt so on my face.
"You are part Templar, child. Why do you think that they leave you be? You have your father's eyes, but your mother's stubbornness."
"Don't you dare talk about my mother! She trusted you, and you killed her because she wouldn't tell you where I had gone!" I yelled. I saw Altair start to move a little, and I kept going. "I was just another spoil from this god forsaken war! You couldn't kill me when I was younger because I had made friends. I'm sorry that it cost Kadar for me to realize that."
"And I'm sorry that I didn't kill you when I had the chance...." The Master said, pulling out the same knife he used to try and kill Altair. "But now I guess I do. I wonder if you'll scream, or stay silent like your dear old-" He let out a strangled grunt, and my ability to move came back to me, and I backed off before his limp body could hit me. The apple fell out of his hand and I picked it up.
"No, I'll survive." I whispered. "Something my mom never got to do." I felt arms wrap around my waist and someone kiss my cheek. I turned my head to see Altair behind me and I turned around in is arms, hugging him. The sound of footsteps came closer, but I didn't look up.
"Is she ok?" I heard Malik ask, and I felt something brush the top of my head and heard Altair's voice.
"Yeah. She's just tired."

Land of the Avengers Chapter 4
Her body hurt, that's all Virginia knew the moment she woke up. She let out a little groan, her eyebrows scrunching as she slowly came to. The first sound she heard was Cadet Keener's voice. Instantly her eyes snapped open and she sat up, automatically regretting her decision as her ribs shot a sharp pain through her midsection. "Virginia?" Clint's use of her full name was a sign that something was wrong. "Are you all right?"
She nodded, gritting her teeth against the pain."Yes...just got up too fast. How...how are the cadets?" They were more important than her most likely broken ribs. She could deal with those later.

Part 6: Battle of the Ages
"YEEEAAAAAH!"
Thor's shout of excitement was enough to silence the entire arena. "He's a friend from work!" He yelled to them then pointed to the Hulk as he looked at Loki. "Loki look! He's here!"
Loki looked in shock while he quietly sat back in his chair. "You look like you're ready to have a heart attack," (YN) teased. "Shut up," Loki muttered back.
"Hey Banner!" Thor said to him.
"No Banner, only Hulk!" Hulk answered, holding up his weapons as he watched the audience then turned to Thor. "What are you doing? It's me, Thor!" He protested, only have Hulk rush at him, then slam down on the ground in an attempt
